Boxing McRAE’S FUTURE
The executive committee of the Canterbury Boxing Association last evening unanimously decided that the boxing future of Rod McR; e was exceptionally bright The president ot the association (Mr E. Pococki was in the chair.
It was reported that Mcßae's medical adviser was confident that his eye would heal rapid 1 ?, and it was the opinion of Bob Palmer, a leading professional and amateur trainer, that he was a boxer with an exceptional future. Mcßae had ind‘cated that he would be available for flshts in Christchurch as often as required, and the committee agreed that it ws' prepared to match him as soon as a suitable opponen' was available. The corwri’tee said it was impressed with Mcßae’s fight, in? ability, ard because he was an improving boxer it was prepared to match him as often as possible.
