August 6, Date Of Annual Fixture (From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, July 5 Tile weekly meeting of the West Coast Rugby League in Greymouth agreed to Sunday. August 6 as the date for the Thacker Shield match at Wingham Park. This trophy is -at stake in an annual challenge game between the teams winning the West Coast and Canterbury senior club championships. In the case of Canterbury. Linwood has won the season's honours and will meet the West Coast winner next month.
Permission was granted to the Cobden-Kohinoor club to play against Wainui-o-Mata in Wellington, and Mangakino in the Bay of Plenty in September and to the Runanga club to play in Dunedin later in the season.
