Sir,—l thank Mr Walker for what he said in Parliament about helping the cerebral palsied. lam glad the chairman of the North Canterburt' Hospital Board has read it, and found it s'aggering news. It gives me the opportunity of telling him that the Health Department had seen the need of helping the cerebral palsied by providing an unused sanatorium building in Hawke’s Bay as a hom» fol- those unfortunate people. This home was started under toe superv'sion of a hospital board. At Wednesday's meeting, toe chairman said he had received warnings from the Hea’th Dppartment not to have any dealings with the Adult Cerebral Palsied Society. I respectfully suggest to the members of the hospital board that this warning is answered by the establishment of toe home in the North Island.
