COMMERCIAL N.Z. And Overseas Shares Again Easier In Trading
Falls in prices of New Zealand shares outnumbered rises five to one in trading yesterday, while overseas shares also showed a weaker tone. Gear Meat recovered 3d of the 6d lost on Monday, Watties and South British firmed 3d and Lane Walker Rudkin rose Id. A.C.I. rose Is ltd, Humes sold Is 6d higher, while National Mortgage B, Hooker and Woolworths notes also improved. N.Z. Forest Products fell (id after reaching their highest point for the year on Monday. N.Z. Insurance B and Bonds both fell Is. Auckland Gas, N.Z. Insurance and Ballins Industries were again easier. Dominion Brewery rights fell 2d. 1.C.1. sold 9d down, Factors lost 3d of the 7d gained on Monday, while Feltex Australia, Ampol and Ansett were again easier.
