MAN MISSING ON COAST

Police Search To Continue (From Our Oum Reporter) GREYMOUTH, July 4. The search for Ambrose Esmond Griffin, aged 53. who has been missing from his home at Omolo since Saturday, was continued yesterday by the Greymouth police, helped by a number of civilians. The party went up and down the Grey river in a boat. and searched the beaches from Port Elizabeth south along the coast, and also the country areas near the Omoto racecourse and the Greymouth - Stillwater railway line. The search will be continued this morning under the direction of Sergeant F. McKenna. The police ask that any volunteers wilting to help assemble outside Mr Griffin's house at Kaiata at 9 a.m. The missing man, who is employed as a ganger by the Railways Department at Greymouth, is sft 9in in height, of medium build, with grey hair and green eyes. When last seen at 4 p.m. on Saturday he was wearing blue ove’alls. ■ grey jersey, and bro shoes, but no hat
