Mr A R Ding--11 wall, told the “Farming as a J Business” course in Christi church. J In a trial conducted last [ season in a wheat crop on .; Rangitata Island which showed obvious symptoms of the disease the plots which . received no corrective treat- . ment yielded only 30 bushels , per acre whereas' the treated > plots yielded 67 bushels. t “The 37 additional bushels at 13s 6d a bushel should pro- , vide more than enough to buy , and apply the manganese sulijphate and make a down pay- >| ment on a TV set as well." !; said Mr Dingwall.
