THIRD WINNING YEAR—Members of the stuff of Canterbury Agricultural College have for three years won the Royal Agricultural Society’s prize for the best paper in a nominated field of agricultural research. This year’s winners, for a paper in the field of soil science, are Professor T. W. Walker, professor of soil science (second from left), and Mr A. F. R. Adams, senior lecturer in the same department (third from left). Professor I. E. Coop (right), head of the animal husbandry department, won the award last year for a paper in animal science, and the year before Professor B. P.
