Weir To Ride Vitapointe
IN.Z.P.A - Reuter—Cop’/righ tI SYDNEY. June 30 The leading jockey. D Weir, will be the new rider for the New Zealand mare. Vitapointe, in the Homestead Handicap at Warwick Farm tomorrow. He will be having his first mount on Vitapointe which is second favourite to Luck’s A Fortune in early betting.
With most of Sydney’s top jockeys riding in Brisbane tomorrow, trainers had difficulty today in securing riders for Warwick Farm. Several strongly fancied candidates are still without jockeys.
