Figures For Six Months There were 315 more births and 96 more deaths registered in Christchurch during the six months ended June 30 tban in the corresponding period of last year, according to figures supplied yesterday by the Deputy-Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages (Mr T. Ruane>. Although there were 18 more marriages in the registry office, there were 33 fewer marriages in the six months. !
