Hugby ARRIVAL OF FRENCHMEN
First Match On July 8 (N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 30. The French Rugby team, holders of the five nations championship, and victors in its last series over South Africa, wild arrive at Wellington airport on Sunday. After a stay of aboist an hour the team waM fly to Nelson. There, it wiU spend the week preparing for its tour of 13 matches, and, in particular. the first match, against Ne!s'.on-MkirMooroi:g'h-Golden Bay-Motuefca on Saturday, July 8. On Sunday the team will be met by representatives of the Government and Opposition, by the Mayor of Wellington <Mr F. J. Kitts), the president of the New Zeeland Rugby Union (Mr K G. Bevege) and other Rugby administrators.
