CONCERT GIVEN AT HOSPITAL
Glenda Raymond At Cashmere The Australian soprano, Glenda Raymond, accompanied by the pianist, Maurice Till, gave a complimentary concert at Coronation Hospital last evening. About 60 attended, including the staff and patients of the hospital and tlhe Upper Sanatorium. Miss Raymond's programme included several ballads and well-known songs. She was presented with a bouquet of flowere. The medical superintendent of the sanatorium (Dr. J. O. Enticott) thanked the artists. The stage was decorated with banks of pot plants, including cyclamen, cineraria, poinciana and greenery. The plants had been lent by Mr J. O. Taylor.
