Scored 56 Goals, Two Against (NZ Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 14. The English soccer team scored 56 goals and had only two scored against it in winning all six matches of its New Zealand tour, which ended with its 8-0 win over Auckland today. Only D. Durant. who scored a penalty for Canterbury, and D J. McVey, who scored for New Zealand in the second test, goaled against the visitors. The Scorers Finney was the top goalscorer with 12. followed by Fantham <10). B. Brown (8). Lewis (7>. Charnley (4). Lindsay (4), L. Brown (3). A’Court (2), Hannah (2). Appleton (2). Shaw Hi, and a defender 1. About 68.000 watched the visitors play Crowd estimates were 7500 ; » Dunedin. 12,500 at Christchurch, 6000 at Napier, 19,000 at Wellington. and 8000 at Auckland. The English team leaves tomorrow for California, where it will play one match before returning to London.
