Squads Named As Possibilities
From the form shown in the early-season races the Canterbury harrier selectors (Messrs W. A. Kennedy and R. Farmer) have named two squads as possibilities for selection for the national championships at Dunedin in August and other interprovincial events. The squads are:— Seniors: R. Stevens. J. K. Macdonald. J. D. Macdonald, N. Fleming, B. Buckley, K. Richards, W. K. Kennedy. D. Reece. T. Preece, C. Saxton, J. Lucas, J. Blakeley. L. Jago, P. Watts. R. Perry, K. McKinstry, G. T. Wilson. Also included are T. W. Deam and L. V. Hill, of Timaru. Juniors: A. Bayard. R. Reekie. B. Molloy, R. Allan, C. Wood, A. Dyer. R. Inder, K. Connal. M. Jones, B. Cattermole, R. Piper, J. Wells, T. Bennett. K. Jago, M. Phillips. P. Hewlett, R. Caldow, B. Brown.
