DINE-AND-DANCE PARTY
Elizabeth House Societies
About 80 members of the combined societies of Elizabeth House dined and danced by candleligtit at Elizabeth House on Saturday evening. The programme was arranged by the house committee of Elizabeth House, with Mrs S. Golden as chairman. Guests were received by Mrs Golden, assisted by Mr K. S. Jameson, secretary of the Elizabeth House board. The dinner tables were artistically decorated with trails of ivy and small posy bowls of pink, blue and white flowers. Silver and green foliage surrounded the candles. Mrs Gwynneth Dorrans sang, accompanied by Mr Colin Smart, who also played music for dancing.
