65 HURT IN FIRE
Explosion In Toledo
(N.Z Press Assn.—Copyright > TOLEDO (Ohio), June 11. Sixty-five persons were injured, and two houses were destroyed and several others set on fire when a fully-loaded petrol tanker overturned and exploded on the outskirts of Toledo late yesterday. The blast injured persons two blocks away, but no fatalities were reported. The most seriously injured were 11 firemen who were attempting to extinguish the blaze when the truck exploded. Twenty-one persons, most of them children, were admitted to hospitals with first degree bums. An eye-witness said the entire street was a solid sheet of fire. At least nine houses were set on fire.
