Trading Banks Borrow Less The trading banks reduced their borrowings from the Reserve Bank by 1.9 m to £ 16.2 m tliis week. Their deposits with the Reserve Bank fell £2.2m. Net Government indebtedness to the Reserve Bank rose £2.4m. Sterling and other exchange held by the bank was slightly higher at £ 10.6 m.
