TALKS BY DEAN AT OXFORD
Programme For Next Week A series of talks by the Dean of Christchurch (the Very Rev. Martin Sullivan* will be given parishioners of the Oxford-Cust area every night next week. “I shall be dealing with vital issues.” says the Dean in a message to parishioners. “For example—life and its meaning, our relationships with one another, marriage, death and life to come, home and family, and young people and their problems.” The programme, which has been arranged by the vicar of St. Andrew’s Church (the Rev. G. H. Schurr) and his committee, will open with communion at St. James’s Church. Cust, on Sunday morning. A family service and communion will then be held at St. Andrew’s Church, and there will be a mission service in' the Oxford Town Hall in the evening. The Dean will speak in the town hall every evening throughout the week, except on Saturday, when the meeting will be held in St. Andrew’s Church. The week will end with a family service and communion on the morning of Sunday, June 18. and a final mission service in the town hall in the evening.
