“Statement On Imports Soon”
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 9. The Minister of Customs (Mr Marshall) said in Auckland today that manufacturers can expect a statement very shortly on the proposed extension of 1961 import licences. "I know they are waiting anxiously, but it won’t be long before an announcement is made,” he said. Mr Marshall said he appreciated manufacturers’ patience in waiting for the statement.
