VOTE for LABOUR DON'T VOTE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE BEFORE THE PEOPLE OF NEW ZEALAND MEMBERSHIP OF THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FOND WHICH IS ADVOCATED BY THE GOVERNMENT MEANS THE SURRENDER OF OUR SOVEREIGNTY TO MANAGE OUR MONEY SYSTEM TO SUIT OURSELVES. DR. H. A. CUNNINGHAM. L.L.D., A.1.A.N.Z., WHO CAREFULLY EXAMINED ALL THE PROS AND CONS OF THE AGREEMENT WARNED AGAINST JOINING FOR THE FOLLOWING COGENT REASONS. AMONG OTHERS (a) The International Monetary Fund does nothing to promote a balance in trede (b) Matters vitally affecting New Zealand's economy will be decided for it by interested parties "outside New Zealand." (c) The obscurity of the Agreement may well make it a breeding ground for international disputes. THi ELECTORS OF HURUNUI WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF GIVING AN EMPHATIC EXPRESSION OF THEIR OPIHION ON THIS. THE MOST IMPORTANT SINGLE ISSUE EVER PLACED BEFORE ANY NEW ZEALAND ELECTORATE AN ISSUE ABOVE AU QUESTIONS OF PARTIES AND PERSONS. Vote LABOUR which is opposed to joining the I.M.F.
