BUSY MONTH FOR C.W.I.’s
Recent Meeting Of Federation The Canterbury Federation of Country Women’s Institutes reported a very busy month at its recent meeting. Representatives had attended birthday parties at Greendale and North Beach, and the three annual group meet- ■ ings. The voluntary organisers’ school end a musical evening for Mrs J. Barker had both been successful. I The institutes reported celebrating Mother's Day in various ways. Manv demonstrations and talks had been given. The institutes had combined to send a federation entry to the Dominion lavette competition to be held m conjunction with the Dominion council meeting in Wanganui next July T’he president of the Canterbury federation has decided to send a newsletter to all institutions every three months. A sub-committee wa« formed to organise the spring S™* 0 , *£ !d in ChriMchurch later this year.
