Bruce MacLaren (New Zealand) and Walter Hansgen in a Maserati docked the second best time of tain 3.Bsec <123.5 miles an hour) in the first practice yesterday of the 55 ears and 110 drivers entered for the L* Mans 24-hour endurance race which starts on Saturday. The best time was turned in by Ritchie Ginther 'United States) and Wolfang von Trips (Germany) in a Ferrari with tain 2.Bsec '123.9 miles an hour).
