U.S. ARMS SPENDING
Authorisation Of New Bill (N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON. June 7. A conference of members of the United States Senate and the House of Representatives today agreed on a bill to authorise 12.560 m dollars expenditure for the nation’s major military weapons in the year beginning on July 1. The compromise, still subject to final House and Senate approval, included 525 m dollars more than President Kennedy asked for manned bombers. 7
