Region To Start
"The Press" Special Service MATAMATA. June 2. Region was worked on the roads at Matamata this morning and pulled up sound. An hour after he had finished work one knee, which had been swollen, looked the same size as the other. After further bathing of the knee his trainer. M. A. Martinovich said the Count Rendered gelding would run in the Great Northern Hurdles tomorrow. Judging by the freedom with which the horse is working his chance should not be affected by the trouble which has worried his connexions this week.
