Bowls United Women’s Club
Trophies were presented to competition winners at a function given by the president (Mrs S. Heslin) to mark the close of the season for the United Women’s Bowling Club. They were: singles, Mrs N. Buckley; junior singles. Mrs M. Lamb; champion pairs, Mesdames M. Burn, G. L. Duns (s); champion Mesdames M. Bailey, J. Lucas, S. Heslin, M. Lonie (s); president’s rinks, Mesdames N. Brocket, M. Lamb, E. Wheatley, O. B. Congreve (s); Pitcaithly pairs, Mesdames L. Dunn, S. Meslin (s).
Officers elected at the annual meeting were:—president, Mrs F. Sarich; vice-president, Mrs E. Wheatley; secretarytreasurer. Mrs O. M. Smith; centre delegate, Mrs O. B. Congreve: deputy delegate, Mrs L. Watson; selector, Mrs G. L. Duns; general committee, Mesdames J. James, E. Mair, S. Heslin, L. Watson, N. Buckley; match committee, Mesdames O. B. Congreve, E. Mair; coach, Mrs G. L. Duns; social committee. Mesdames N. Buckley (convenor). J. James, O. Congreve. F. Bowers. L. Watson, F. Jenkins, S. Heslin.
