Santana In Final

Nicola Pietrangeli. and Manuel Santana, of Spain, seeded number six. today reached the men's singles final in the French lawn tennis championships. Pletrangeli gained a convincing win over Sweden’s Jauerik Lundquist, 6-4, 6-4. 6-4. in the semi-<kigls. Santana broke up the power game of the Australian. Rod Laver, bo win. 3-6. 6-2. 4-6. 6-4. 6-0. Britain’s Ann Haydon and Yola Jamirez, of Mexico, are the finalists in the women's singles. In today's semifinals. Miss Haydon beat Hungary's Suzy Kormoczy, 3-6, 6-1. 6-3. while Miss Ramirez overcame Edda Buding. of West Germany. 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Miss Ramirez lost tn the American Darlene Hard in last year's final. In one semi-final, the defending champions, Mana Bueno (Brazil) and Darlene Hard (United States' will meet the young Australians, Jan Lehane and Lesley Turner. The only other matches today will be the mens doubles semi-finals.
