Wresiling Bound For World Championships
The two Canterbury members of the New Zealand wrestling team to compete in the world championships at Tokyo next month, I. B. Roberts and P. Moore, left Christchurch last night on the first stage of their trip. Roberts, the present national light-weight champion. and Moore, the national ban’am-weight title holder, will join six other wrestlers to form the New Zealand team for the championships. Entries have outstripped those for wrestling at the Rome Olympics and strong competition if expected in all divisions.
