Proprietor Fined
(N.Z Press Association > WELLINGTON. May 26. Stanley James Patterson, proprietor of the Tawa Open Mart, was fined £5O in the Magistrate’s Court today by Mr J. A. Wicks. S.M., for having 157 cases of apples in his shop, not bought from the Apple and Pear Board or from a grower in accordance with the regulations. A second charge that being engaged in the business of s'oring or selling fruit, during busmess hours, he failed to allow all stocks of fruit in his possession at Paremata to be examined, was dismissed. The fine of £5O was imposed on a charge heard last Friday and adjourned till today for penalty.
