Bankrupt Meets Creditors

A deficiency of £427 3s was shown in the statement of affairs of Arthur Murdoch Mclvdr. a welder and fitter, read to a meeting of his creditors yesterday. Mclver was adjudged bankrupt on May 15. Mclver offered to pay £2 a week, or more if he could, in reduction of his debts. This was accepted, Mr D. Malcolm, agent for the Official Assignee (Mr O T. Mclver, replying to Mr Malcolm, said he left the railways in April, 1960. He was not now living with his wife. She had left him four months ago. His present earnings were £l3 a week.

Mr Malcolm: I am going to summons your wife for examination.

Mclver said he would pay £2 a week or more if he could in reduction of his debts.
