Lunch For Gourmets (London Correspondent of '‘The Press") LONDON, April 27. The British chapter of the most ancient of all associations of cooks, the Chaine des Rotisseurs, will spitroast two lambs from the prize-winning carcases in the Dominion’s district lamb competitions. The lambs were displayed at Smithfield market this week and attracted a lot of attention from market men as well as from representatives from the meat trade, farming, catering and the daily newspapers. Two carcases will be held for the rotisseurs’ lunch at the Butchers’ Hall in June. A large spit will have to be installed for the occassion, and about 70 guests are expected to be there, including the New Zealand Higfl Commissioner, Mr T. L. Macdonald. It is said that the lamb will be accorded proper respect and carried with some ceremony to the table.
