Exchange Of Trainees

Two engineering trainees will have the chance pt a lifetime next week when they spend a week on opposite sides of the world. An Auckland firm and its associated English company are arranging the exchange as part of Commonwealth training week. A young Wellington man. Mr G. Pawaon, will leave on Wednesday by air to attend functions in Britain and inspect induatrial plants there.
At the same time. Mr Michael Martin will be flying to New Zealand. He will spend a few days in Welling, ton and then attend special functions in Auckland and also inspect factories. The Duke of Edinburgh, who is sponsoring the training week, suggested that business firms might make exchanges of this kind.
