Working conditions are good, with office systems mainly mechanical.

The commencing salary will be based on the qualifications of the appointee, out will be within the £750/£975 range, thereafter according to ability.

SHORTHAND TYPIST This position is available to a competent typist, preferably one with shorthand qualifications, but consideration will also be given to applicants able to transcribe from dictating machines. This appointment offers varied and interesting employment and will include part-time operation of our National 32 Accounting Machine, for which full training will be given. A superannuation scheme, interchangeable with other Local Body and Government schemes is available.

The commencing salary will be based on the qualifications of the appointee with an initial maximum of £7OO per annum.
