POOR SHOOTING SEASON
Coast Conditions
Unfavourable
Duck shooters on the West Coast are hoping for a change to more favourable conditions for the remaining fortnight of the season The weather on opening day at the beginning of this month was against the shooters. there being an absence of low cloud or rain. Similar conditions have prevailed since, with the result that the average hunter has had to be content with a bag of two or three birds. This has been the general position throughout Westland.
