Appeal For Strikers

AUCKLAND. May 22. An appeal to men on construction jobs for financin' help for the 127 men on
strike from Fletcher Holding and the Fletcher-Kaiser group will be made by the Auckland Labourers’ Union. The men ceased work after the employers refused a wage demand for 7s 4d an hour. The stoppage has affected 37 construction jobs worth several million pounds.
