(N Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON. May 17. President Kennedy was considering a meeting with the Soviet Prime Minister <Mr Khrushchev), it was officially confirmed today. Confirmation of the twoman summit negotiations, which had been reported unofficially for days, came from two sources. The acting-Secretary of State (Mr Chester Bowles* said in Washington that the meeting was “definitely under consideration." In Ottawa the President talked over the proposed meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister (Mr Diefenbaker). the White House press secretary said However. Mr Bowles emphasised that no decision had been made, and any final decision would be up to the President. Mr Bowles made his statement before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
