NEW NORTHERN HIGHWAY PLAN.—The chairman of the National Roads Board (Mr Goosman) and the Assistant Director of Reading (Mr A. G. Begg) examine a wall plan for the proposed new northern outlet for Christchurch at the meeting of the National Roads Board, where a programme of £1,715,000 was approved to develop the outlet. The route approved is the one shown as a firm line.
