Fisher For Australia
The Matamata light-weight Jockey. Ross Fisher, who was an apprentice when he won the last Auckland Cup on Ruato. has accepted an engagement to ride for a Sydney stable. Fisher will leave for Australia after the Waikato meeting. He finished his apprenticeship a few months ago with 70 wins on his record, and he has had several successes since. Fisher is going to Australia on the recommendation of Mr M. Grogan, who was asked to select a likely lightweight rider for Australian conditions. ASHBURTON TROTTING CLUB N Z SAPLING STAKES.
