F.O.L. POLICY ON DEFENCE
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 8. A policy on defence which in one section parallels that proposed by the president of the Labour Party, Dr. A. M. Finlay, in his address to the party’s annual conference today, was released by the president of the Federation of Labour, Mr F. P. Walsh. The policy is announced by the New Zealand Joint Council of Labour and advocates the setting up of an international military force with sufficient strength to prevent any one country or group of countries ever constituting a threat to others until disarmament has been achieved.
