191 Found In April A total of 191 unlicensed radios was discovered by Post Office inspectors last month in the Christchurch district, bringing the total this year to 533. About 35 persons are due to come before the Court this week on charges of operating unlicensed radios.

Last week, the inspectors were in the Diamond Harbour. Papanui, and Avonhead areas. During April, they visited 1744 homes. New licences issued in the Christchurch district since the beginning of the year totalled 4623, about four times the usual number. Last month, 731 new licences were taken out.
