100-MILE MARCH

Regular Forc n Sappers (N.Z Press Association 1 AUCKLAND. April 27. A 100-mile march from Runciman to Paeroa by way of Ohinewai. Morrinsville and Te Arolia, was begun at 4.30 this morning by a party of 15 young Regular Force sappers from Papakura camp. They plan to be at Paeroa by 4 p m. tomorrow. At 10.40 a m. today they were at Pokeno, after having marched about 20 miles. The aim is to march three miles and a half each hour. There will be no stops, except for meals. Each carried a cut lunch today, but from this afternoon they will be supplied with hot meals taken by truck from Ngaruawahia camp.
