The United States icebreaker Staten Island, which r has been diverted from its homeward trip from the s Antarctic to search for the drifting fuel barge which >, broke lose from the ice. has i met heavy seas and strong - winds, and is not now expected to reach McMurdo t Sound until the end of the e week. As well as adverse t weather, the icebreaker has e to contend with minor engine e trouble. No news ot the drifting s barge has been received since 3 Friday.
