ACTION OUT OF TIME
• Decision Reserved On Application Decision was reserved by Mr Justice Richmond in the Supreme Court yesterday on an application by Alice-Lilian Ann Heney (Mr B. A. Barter) to commence proceedings out of time in a claim against Commercial Cleaners Ltd., for £2OOO general damages and £llOO special damages. Mr C. B. Atkinson, who appeared for the intended defendant, opposed the application. The claim arises out of an accident , suffered by Mrs Heney when she was employed by Commercial Cleaners, Ltd. On May 29. 1956. she was a branch staff supervisor, at the new nurses’ home dining room at the Christchurch Hospital She slipped on some polish and was in hospital for some time.
