The Institute of Advanced Studies is responsible for enrolment* for the Ph.D. degree and similar courses of research, and the School of General Studies for enrolments for Masters* degrees. Some scholarships are offered by the Institute of Advanced Studies for competition among those wishing to enrol, nor- . maliy for the PhD. degree. The - scholarships are tenable for two years initially but may be extended for a third year.
