BUILDING FLATS IN RICCARTON
Council Approves In Principle Permission in principle was given two persons who want to build flats in Riccarton by the Riccarton Borough Council. W. R. Dennis was granted permission to build four self-contained flats with three garages on a 40-perch section at 13 Nelson street Miss H. Doak was granted permission to build two flats on a 19-perch section on the corner of Ayr and Darvel streets. Coat of Arms.— The Riccarton Borough Council agreed in principle, to the adoption of a coat of arms. Mr E. J. Doudney will be asked to assist with the design.
