COLONEL J. B. HARRISON, who has been appointed reception and liaison officer for Tasman Empire Airways, Ltd., in Wellington. Until January of this year he was Military Secretary to the Gover-nor-General (Lord Cobham) and he served in the same capacity with the former GovernorGeneral (Lord Norrie). Colonel Harrison came to New Zealand in 1948 after service in the Indian Army. He was legal staff officer to the New Zealand Army, and later Military Secretary at Army Headquarters.
