LIFT INTO LUXURY
A fur hat rives the luxury lift to an autumn suit or coat. The three different styles shown here are: a chef's cap of beige clipped beaver with matching stitched satin pouch top (left); a gleaming mink pillbox hat (middle); and a grey fur busby with grey satin brim and front bow (right). Fur is a must this year. With imagination it can be introduced inexpensively by little bows, belt and pocket trims, buttons or earrings for the high fashion touch.
Feather Trims Feathers ospreys, maribou down and pheasant plumes are important as trims this season. One pheasant has as many as 20 distinctive colours on its body and because they are so varied in tone there is no need to dye them.
