LONG AND SHORT EVENING GOWNS FROM LONDON DESIGNERS.—The ball gown (left) in milk chocolate brown and white organza, is from a recent collection of Victor Stiebel, London. The bodice and back of the full skirt (both in the brown shade) are scattered with cut-out appliques of pink, blue, and brown lace butterflies. The short evening dress of lilac taffeta is spiral draped with an asymetric shoulderline, repeated in the swirling waistline of the overskirt. This model comes from the house of Ronald Paterson.
