War-Time Pilot To Return To N.Z.
(N .Z.P.A~ Renter—Copyright) LONDON, February 19. A .New,, Zealand-born war pilot. Air Commodore P. G. Jameson, will retire from the Royal Air Force to return home, the “Evening Standard" said today. Air Commodore Jameson aged 48, flew Spitfires and Hurricanes during World War II and fought in the Battle of Britain.
Among his recent R.A.F. appointments he had been Senior Air Staff Officer at 11 Group Fighter Command, and at Second Tactical Air Force Headquarters in Germany.
