AMBASSADOR’S DUTIES
• Prime Minister Non-Committal
(N.Z. Pres* Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. The Prime Minister and Minister of External Affairs (Mr Holyoake) refuted to be drawn at his press conference tonight on weather the New Zealand High Commissionerdesignate in London (Mr T. L. Macdonald) would also be accredited- to the- Brussels headquarters of the European Common Market countries. Mr Holyoake said that he hoped to have *■ full discussion with Mr Macdonald during the week and certainly by next Monday. Mr Holyoake said be could make no announcement yet about the vacant ambassadorial post in Washington, or the Canberra and Kuala Lumpur posts, where New Zealand is represented by Mr F. Jones and Mr C. M. Bennett. Their terms of office will expire soon.
