Appointment Of Mr C. Blyth
Mr Charles Blyth, son of Mr and Mrs W. O. Blyth, Francis avenue,'Christchurch, and formerly of Leithfield, will leave today for Melbourne where he will take up an appointment as a demonstrator in physics at the university. Mr Blyth, who is 24 was educated at Amberley primary school and Timaru Boys’ High School before beginning his studies at the University
of Canterbury in 1955. He graduated B.Sc. in 1959 and M.Sc. last year with secondclass honours in physics.
While he is at Melbourne University he will be studying for his Ph.D. in nuclear physics. He hopes to obtain an appointment later with the Australian Atomic Commission.
