Armed With Statistics
The Mayor of Kaiapoi (Mr O. M. Williams), Cr. R. Smith, and the Kaiapoi Town Clerk (Mr C. W. D. Hodgson) will comprise a deputation, “armed with statistics and population trends," to wait on the North Canterbury Hospital Board in order to press claims for a new hospital for Kaiapoi. This action was decided by the Kaiapoi Borough Council last evening after a letter from D. Macmillan, a member of the North Canterbury Hospital Board, had been read, giving his views on the establishment of a new hospital for the town.
